Tis the season of the SUHLIA, aka Keeled Mullet. Netted daily from the the Suez Canal, its Boory’s cool cousin, except it’s much smaller in size and loaded with wonderful-tasting batarekh, our very own Egyptian caviar! It feeds mainly on shrimps, making their meat super tender, super creamy and super tasty!
Its a very seasonal fish, reaching its peak in December. However, we promise we’ll keep on supplying these bad boys till season runs out, hopefully we’ll get lucky this year and have them throughout Jan!
